The philosophy of all our ayahuasca retreats is to create an environment in which you can explore and develop, with guidance, your own way to heal yourself, doing away with the traditional doctor/patient relationship. Our aim is to create a stepping stone to the doctor of the future, as envisioned by Thomas Edison.
Our main focus at Ayahuasca Satsangha is to offer responsible guidance and facilitation for accelerated growth in the path of personal consciousness development and self healing through Ayahuasca Retreats in Peru. We believe that the sacred medicine should be available to all, regardless of socio-economic background or income bracket and are opposed to the turning of the sacred work into for-profit business. All income over and above the wages and costs of running our retreats supports sustainable development, education and healthcare projects in Peru.
Our programs are designed to accommodate all, from newcomers to the shamanic work, to those who already have a relationship with the medicine and wish to deepen it, and also those seeking alternative healthcare solutions.

As we rapidly approach 2012 and beyond, it is becoming clear that we’re now in the midst of a tumultuous transformation of the planet. These shifts we’re experiencing are exciting, but at times a little scary, and many are calling out in their hearts and minds for guidance and understanding about what is happening, and what they can do to assist.
In order to keep up with the changes, many people are feeling a powerful impetus to awaken themselves and achieve increasingly pronounced states of awareness and sensitivity. Perhaps, like many people, you have experimented with different modalities of healing and spiritual growth, and have made good progress (or not) but often there’s something lacking. Or perhaps you feel like you’ve hit a roadblock and are struggling to find a way through.
The sacred Ayahuasca plant medicine, from the Amazon rainforest, is an incredibly powerful tool for removing those blocks while accelerating spiritual and consciousness growth. It is our belief that all blockages, illness and dis-ease are nothing more than manifestations of a mind not knowing itself. We work with helping you to remove the blocks that currently prevent you from that level of knowing. This involves you undergoing a journey into your own psyche – your own spiritual odyssey, at the end of which lies home.
Ayahuasca is a great purifier that works on all levels, and will help to cleanse your body, mind and soul of negative energies and toxic thought patterns. It allows you to experience much higher levels of awareness which then enables you to look at yourself with unrelenting honesty so that you can truly get to the root cause of your problems. Only from a place of complete honesty and openness about yourself can you truly self heal or manifest solutions that will actually work.
Our Ayahuasca retreats are orientated more towards those seeking to accelerate their spiritual growth in order to keep joyously and effortlessly apace of the rising energy waves arriving on the planet right now. Understanding that this global transition is a collective affair, we wish for as many people as possible to raise their consciousness as quickly as possible so as to lend extra charge to the awakening of the planet and the evolution of the human species, of which we are all a part.
